33-year-old Lamont James pleaded guilty yesterday to two counts of Assault While Participating in a Felony and four counts of Criminal Transmission of an Infectious Diseases to Another, all of which are Class D felonies.
According to media reports, James admitted to having physical contact with a 13-year-old girl and with three adult women while he had HIV. The girl and two of the three adult women have tested positive for HIV. The third woman fortunately has so far tested negative.
