The "Riverdale" spin-off will follow Katy Keene (played by Lucy Hale) as she builds her career, plays with her new friends, and chases her dreams in New York City. She will be joined by friends Pepper Smith (Julia Chan), Jorge/Ginger Lopez (Jonny Beauchamp), and "Riverdale" alumni Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray).
It's unclear if there will be any crazy cults, monsters, or masked serial killers in "Katy Keene," but I'm hoping to see the Hangman, Catfish Joe, and/or Captain Pumpernik before the program's eventual end!
It's not 100% clear from the promotion information, but "Katy Keene" will presumably premier this fall.
