Frankly, I had assumed that the "Roseanne" spin-off sitcom was going to quietly fade away into canceled oblivion. The ratings were much lower for "The Conners" than they had been for "Roseanne." But I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the spin-off will return next fall!
No other details have been revealed about "The Conners" Season 2. But I do have a wish list:
First, I want to see an adult version of Jerry Conner. I would much rather see Jerry's return than a dozen celebrity guest appearances.
Second, I want to see an adult version of Andy Harris -- or learn of his final fate. Nothing is known of Andy's life or whereabouts since the return of "Roseanne"/"The Conners." Almost everyone one who'd been significant during the original program has returned or been mentoned. The complete blackout surrounding Andy's life remains one of the most significant mysteries of this show!
