I Got a Shout-Out on Latest Episode of "Conversation Street!"

I've been a fan of "Coronation Street" for about five months. One of the first things that happened after I decided that I would stick with the program is that I sought out a podcast called "Conversation Street" and began listening to that. Now, this podcast is a weekly program and I runs at least two hours each episode. So I'm not terribly good about listening to the whole program each week. But I jump over bits and get what I want out of the show.

But I've also discovered a closed Facebook group for fans of "Coronation Street" and "Conversation Street." We talk about the program and the podcast and other spin-off discussions. It's an interesting mix of individuals and I generally enjoy being a member of that group.

Anyway, the point of this blog post is to note that I got a shout-out towards the end of this latest episode of "Conversation Street" for a post that I made in the closed FB group earlier in the week. Michael congratulated me for joining the "Corrie Dreamers' Club" for this:

I finally had a "Corrie" dream last night. It was a brief one, but I was hanging with Martin Platt and he was wearing that burgundy jacket from the show (which reminds me of something I used to wear back in the 80s when I was in high school). We were eating breakfast cereal and comparing/contrasting the American VS UK "Big Brother" programs.

True story. I think that I only remember the dream because I work up right afterwards. I don't remember a whole heck of a lot about that dream, but I certainly remember that jacket that he couldn't stop wearing on the program during his brief visit!


I have no clue why I was dreaming about "Big Brother" though!
