Christian Writer Matt Moore: "Please Don't Call Me Ex-Gay"

I earlier this month wrote about ex-gay "Christian Post" writer Matt Moore being discovered running around the streets of New Orleans with an active Grindr account. He confessed to his mentors, sold off his computer, and got rid of his phone apps and is working hard to letting this incident fade out of our collective memory.

But before he fades away, he wants to pass on a message to the rest of him. Matt Moore wants to clarify that he is not ex-gay and it makes him bristle when others call him ex-gay. He is still as attracted to guys as he was three years ago and he is still not as attracted to gals as he was three years ago. He still feels that gay relationships are immoral and he's given up the option of finding a life-mate of his own in favor of living as a Christian. Check out the video here:


More power to Moore for trying to live through his convictions. Hopefully someday he will realize that he can be a Christian and a gay man with a family. But I wish him well as he figures things out.
