I was watching this clip from "Strahan Sara and Keke" featuring Judge Marilyn Milian. She reported that "The People's Court" will change its format soon in response to the COVID-19 lock-downs.

Instead of hearing cases from her TV courtroom, cases will produced from home. Judge Milian reports that she will participate in cases from her home office, as will the litigants whose cases will be heard by the TV judge:
Sara Haines: Now we had heard that you were doing virtual at-home versions of "The People's Court."

Judge Milian: We're going to start doing it again.

Sara Haines: What's that like?

Judge Milian: Oh, we haven't started yet! Have me back on then and I'll let you know! Look, court houses throughout the land are pretty closed. In some cities they're doing remote, but not very many. So we decided that we're gonna start doing it remote so they picked a spot in my living room... How I'm gonna keep my family quiet and my dog out of things, I don't know, but we'll figure it out. And then people will appear from their own living rooms. I think it's a good thing to do at this time because with all the uncertainty the last thing you need is a legal issue hanging over your head. You want to get it resolved. So we'll provide that opportunity and we'll see how it goes. And more and more courts are gonna go to that type of remote hearings. So if you're sitting at home, you'll learn how to do it!

Keke Palmer: What is the biggest difference from people coming into the courtroom on television and ones that don't. Is there different energy or is it all the same?

Judge Milian: I think the difference is me really... You don't want people to change the channel. You gotta strike the balance between education and entertainment.
It wasn't clear when this format change will occur, but it will presumably begin in Fall 2021.

You can watch the entire interview here.
