All in all, they're all pretty catchy, but I find myself wanting a second generation toy option beyond the typical Riverdale Five that's generally made available for fans.
So I started wracking my brain for Second and Third Generation Action Figures that would be fun to see available for sale and came up with what I believe to be a great bunch of characters.
First, here is my fantasy batch of Second Generation Action Figures that I would create if I controlled the world: Classic Josie McCoy, Pureheart the Powerful, Classic Katy Keene, Kevin Keller, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Kevin and the girls are all classic characters with solid fanbases, and Pureheart is pulls everything back to the original Riverdale Five.
And then here is my fantasy batch of Third Generation Action Figures that I would create if I controlled the world: Classic Jaguar, Valerie Brown, Li'l Jinx, Chuck Clayton, and Big Ethel. This group is a bit more experimental. Jinx is another classic Archie Comics character. Valerie and Chuck are both favorites of mine, but they also add a bit of color to these toys. Big Ethel is classic female supporting character. And Jaguar is just one of my favorite Mighty Crusaders. Frankly, I'd be okay with swapping him out for Classic Super Duck or Cosmo the Merry Martian.
