Ames UCC shared on social media earlier today that it has replaced its destroyed Rainbow Banner with a new banner. The new banner is also decorated with a rainbow design and some text that reads "God is love."
The church posted a subsequent message that reads "We were supposed to be at a farm for worship today but the rain made everything too muddy. But it also gave us the opportunity to celebrate God's rainbow. #prideflag #queer #love #hatecrime."
