This is creepy. I first learned of this from Alvin McEwen's "Holy Bullies & Headless Monsters" blog. He shared a link to a National Organization for Marriage blog post about the pending marriage equality votes in Minnesota. But there was a pretty creepy comment associated with this blog post that has stirred a bit of concern for LGBT folks -- particularly with those of us who are parents.
Check this out:
Wow...
When pressed in subsequent comments, Barb Chamberlain laughed and other anti-gay marriage folks basically shrugged.
Now I will be the first to point out that NOM's blogger did not write a blog article suggesting that people begin cyber-stalking the children of same-sex couples. However, the NOM blog is notorious for deleting comments of pro-gay marriage folks -- not because of hostile or defamatory comments but because they write pro-gay marriage comments.
Hopefully NOM will have the common sense to delete this comment from their blog very soon. But as of this writing, it's still there.
