"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" Announces 2018 Christmas Special on 12/14/18!

I wrote last night about the hints by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa that Jingles the Christmas Elf was going to get some loving by Archie Comics. I wondered if that meant that Jingles was going appear on "Riverdale"? Or if we would be treated to a Jingles Christmas television special? Or possibly even an Archie Horror Christmas comic book series?

Turns out that I was completely wrong. It's likely that Jingles the Christmas Elf will be be making an appearance in some capacity next month. It's pretty much an annual tradition. Most likely, it will happen in one of the digest comic books.

But Aguirre-Sacasa's pre-announcement on Twitter had nothing to do with Jingles the Christmas Elf -- and least not overtly. Instead, Aguirre-Sacasa announced this morning that Netflix will be dropping a "Chilling Adentures of Sabrina" Christmas special on December 14th!
