My Favorite Four Wish List for Classic TV Reboots!

All sorts of classic programs have been rebooted recently into updated programs, including "Fuller House" and "Roseanne"/"The Connors." There are other programs like "Will & Grace" (which I haven't seen) and "Murphy Brown" (which I'm not yet sure if I will watch). And there are other programs with reboots like the works like "The Facts of Life" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" that I can't wait to watch someday!

I've been mulling over old programs that I wish would get rebooted. Here is my Wish List for Classic TV Reboots:

Sabrina the Teenage Witch: I've actually written about this before. I really, really wish that we could see an update series of the 1990s "Sabrina" sitcom (similar to "Fuller House") featuring Melissa Joan Hart, all of the original actors, and some news actors playing Sabrina's children. I know that Archie Comics already has a dark streaming series featuring Sabrina on Netflix in the works, but I don't see why they can't do both.

The Love Boat: I was a fan of ABC's romantic comedy back in the 1970s. I even wrote about it once. The passengers and crew of the Pacific Princess navigated the choppy seas of romance. The crew appeared every week, but viewers were treated to all sorts of special guest stars, including Adam Arkin, Billy Crystal, Maureen McCormick, Charlotte Rae, and Charo! I don't know that I would do anything majorly different with the concept, though I would recast the Pacific Princess' crew with all new actors.

Misfits of Science: This 1980s superhero farce featured a group of powered crime-fighters. It featured a non-powered science leader, someone who could fire lightning bolts from his hands, a man who could shrink, and a telekinetic Courtney Cox. One could argue that there are too many stories out there featuring people with powers. I'd argue that the world could use a few more misfits!

Davey and Goliath: I grew up watching this ELCA-produced stop-action animated series featuring the troublesome Davey Hansen and his talking dog Goliath. I would love to see new episodes again -- featuring Davey as a child or possibly even Davey's kids!

What classic TV shows would you like to see rebooted?
