I began challenging myself to create new social work memes -- with a goal of one per day on average. I don't always post them here, but I've posted most of them on my personal Facebook page. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, but I have a few plans.
Last night, I created this meme about the world coming to an end because of the blood moon along with the question: "Does this mean that I don't need to worry about finishing my case notes?" (Jon's Note: Of course, the following up reply is that you're never truly finished with case notes...) I posted this meme on my Facebook page last night:
Then this morning, I decided to post the meme on the Social Work Tutor: Group FB page. I do that occasionally, but I don't do it with most of my memes:
Then I logged onto Facebook a few hours later and discovered that my "blood moon" meme got redone by Social Work Tutor himself:
In other words, Social Work Tutor stole my meme!
Honestly, I joking. I mean, the meme was actually re-purposed. But It's a meme. I've re-purposed others' memes in the past myself. But it's kind of cool that SWT liked my meme enough to take the joke and re-make it just enough so that it's his.
But it's a sign that I need to begin branding my memes.
