Faye Windass Stands Revealed as Eileen's Tormenter on Latest "Coronation Street!"

I haven't written much about Pat Phelan, the biggest bad guy on "Coronation Street," here on the blog. Phelan did all sorts of villainy during his time on the show. He raped Anna Windass and later framed her for an assault against Seb. He killed several characters. He swindled most of the neighborhood out of their savings. And he eventually fell to his death from a lighthouse into the ocean after trying to take out his wife Eileen.

Except that his body wasn't ever found. And we found out that he was recuperating in a Scottish B&B after his death. Did I mention that Pat will be back soon before his final exit from the program?

Pat Phelan might be gone, but his misdeeds are now common knowledge -- and his wife Eileen is an easy target for those who continue to hold a grudge against her husband. Since his "death," Eileen has been the target of harassment. She is plagued by prank phone calls. Her car tires have been slashed. Bricks keep getting thrown through her windows. Her household furniture was nearly carted away. And now her prank caller is calling her with a recorded voice of her "dead" husband saying "Eileen."

It's bad enough that she finally called the police. But they have no clue who the prankster is.

Turns out that Eileen's prank caller is Faye Windass -- Anna Windass' teenage daughter!


I was a bit surprised to see Faye taking out her anger on Eileen. She knows firsthand that Pat was the monster that destroyed her family. Her father has forgiven Eileen. Her brother has forgiven her. Even her boyfriend Seb has forgiven Eileen.

But apparently Faye isn't quite there yet.

I can't wait to see how Eileen reacts -- not to mention Seb, Nicola, and Tim -- when she finds out that Faye is behind her ongoing harassment, especially after all of the times that she helped care for the young girl!
