One of the best things that I've gotten within recent history was my iPad. You can surf the web. You can check your email. You can do Facebook and Twitter. You can take pictures and films. You can easily download digital comic books. You can check the weather. You can play video games. You can plan a menu. It's the coolest thing. And apparently your iPad can now protect you from random softballs!
This guy was at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, IA, taking pictures of a softball game. The batter hit a foul ball, which whizzed right at the guy. Fortunately, he had that iPad or else his face would've gotten smacked hard! I tried capturing an image of the ball hitting the iPad, but it happened so fast that I couldn't make it work. I'm impressed with the iPad shield, but I'm even more amazed that the iPad continued working after getting hit by the softball and dropped on the ground!
