The CW's "Riverdale" Debut Comes in 5th in the Ratings

I've got some not-so-good news. "Riverdale" didn't do too well in the ratings this past Thursday night. Here is how it breaks down:

1. "Scandal" (ABC) -- 7.67 million viewers
2. "Mary Tyler Moore: Love Is All Around" (CBS) -- 6.5 million viewers
3. "Chicago Med" (NBC) -- 3.98 million viewers
4. "My Kitchen Rules" (Fox) -- 2.19 million viewers
5. "Riverdale" (The CW) -- 1.37 million viewers

It's worth noting that The CW's "Supernatural" -- which aired previous to "Riverdale" -- had viewership of 1.71 million.

That said, don't let the ratings scare you away from "Riverdale." It's a good show and worth watching.
