A 31-year-old Coralville man was arrested in Iowa City after being discovered by police

A police investigation found that the front door of a home on the 2200 block of H Street a few blocks away had been forced open and a TV was missing, the complaints said. The home owner identified the stolen TV through photographs and said it was worth $1,200.
The accused thief had multiple active warrants for his arrest for probation violation and failure to appear in court. He's been charged with second-degree theft and third-degree burglary. Both charges are class D felonies and are punishable by up to five years in prison.
