WeTV dropped a teaser for the fourth season of "Mama June: From Not to Hot Family Crisis" late last week and people are still scratching their collective heads.
It wasn't that long ago -- literally just a couple of months -- when news reports were going on about Mama June Shannon and her boyfriend Geno Doak stuck in Alabama winding through court on drug charges while trashing hotel rooms and pretty much falling apart. Then last month, she appeared on social media and expressed regret for falling out from her children. And now suddenly she's going to appear next month on a new season of "Mama June: From Not to Hot??"
The teaser begins with Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson eating a bowl of cereal. The nearby milk carton of course boasts a "Missing" image of her mother at her worst. And then she reacts to a door bursting open off-camera. A narrator then says, "What's it gonna be like when Mama finally comes homes?"
Which is extremely tacky given the production team's repeated assertions that they are all about looking out June, and Alana, and the others. I'm assuming that the program will focus primarily on Alana, Pumpkin, and Josh trying to move on with their lives interspersed with June's train wreck of a year, culminating with a messed up reunion.
