KCJJ reported today that the Iowa City Police were called numerous times over the weekend to the "Kinnick House" in Iowa City's Manville Heights neighborhood. I've written about the Kinnick House and its controversial reputation throughout the neighborhood.
Here are some of the complaints the the ICPD received, according to KCJJ:
Friday, August 30th, at 10:09 PM: A caller complained that an SUV was blocking the end of the street, "'making it impossible to get through."
Saturday, August 31st: Callers complained in seven different call between 8:42 AM-11:25 PM about parking difficulties and other nuisances. Extra patrols were requested in each of these calls.
Sunday, September 1st, at 3:35 AM: One final caller called with an unspecified complaint about the Kinnick House in the early hours of the morning.
