Police are investigating reports that a McDonald's employee was stabbed by two customers over missing food items. It took place Tuesday at a McDonald's fast food restaurant in Des Moines.
According to police, two male customers ordered and received some food. However, there was a mistake with their order and the customers didn't receive everything. They complained about the missing food. A 19-year-old employee gave them the missing food and even issued a refund.
Later that evening, the employee was outside when the two customers returned to the restaurant. They attacked the employee -- and then one of them stabbed him in the leg!
Des Moines police have released images of the the suspects (included on this blog post). And they are asking members of the public to contact the police at 515-283-4811 if they have any information about the assailants.
Fortunately, the McDonald's employee is doing okay. He's recovering and presumably will return to a life of slinging burgers and fries sooner than later.
