Roseanne Barr Reveals How Her Character Will Leave on "The Connors": Opioid Overdose

Roseanne Barr was interviewed for an episode of "The Unsilent Majority" and reviewed the final fate of Roseanne Connor from ABC's "Roseanne"/"The Connors." Roseanne Connor will apparently be killed off before the program begins. And her death will be come as a result of her opioid abuse and addiction:
Host Brandon Straka: So now we know that the show is coming back without you. What's going to happen to Roseanne Connor?

Roseanne Barr: Oh, they killed her.

Straka: They killed her.

Barr: Yeah. They had her die of an opioid overdoes. So it wasn't enough to just do what they did to me. They had to so cruelly insult the people who loved that family and that show. They had to cruelly insult them. And that's what they chose to do so there's nothing I can do about it. It's done.
Frankly, I figured that Roseanne Connor would have to be killed off from the show. That was the only way that I could see her exiting the show and the family while remaining true to her character.

And I know that Roseanne Barr is hurting right now, but it's not like she wasn't above killing off major characters. She killed off Dan Connor in Season 8 of "Roseanne" via heart attack. And then she brought him back from the dead with little explanation when the program was rebooted earlier this year. So maybe there's hope for a Roseanne Connor resurrection after all.
