They both end up in Minnesota. They encounter a bar-fight. Walter tries to break up to the fight. And then Walter gets stabbed in the back by some random dude. He's rushed to the hospital, but he doesn't survive.
Once he dies, his body transforms into Sasquatch -- or actually the Great Beast, Tanaraq -- who isn't a nice guy. So look forward to a ginormous beat-down between the Hulk and Tanaraq next issue.
It always annoys me when heroes like Sasquatch who've gone toe-to-toe against people like the Hulk, or the Master, or Thanos, or Loki, or whomever get killed in random settings by random people in mundane ways.
Then again, Sasquatch has died before. In fact, his current body is actually the reincarnated body of his former teammate, Snowbird. So I'm fully expecting that Sasquatch and Walter Langkowski will return from the dead sooner than later.
In other words, no tears...
