But... I was reading ARCHIE JUMBO COMICS #285 tonight, which led with an brand new lead story titled "Ready, Set, Go!" This story featured writing by Dan Parent, pencils by Jeff Schultz, inks by Jim Amash, colors by Glenn Whitmore, and letters by Jack Morelli.
"Ready, Set, Go!" introduced Archie and the Riverdale Gang to "Cosmo Go," a gaming app that's suspiciously like "Pokémon Go." Players travel around town and earn points by collecting Neptunians, Plutonians, Saturnians, and Uranians -- including the coveted Blue Uranian!!
Of course, Archie needs to catch a Blue Uranian in order to get one over on Reggie and impress Betty & Veronica! I won't ruin the surprise, but I will give you a hint at some of the troubles that Archie and Jughead will go to in order to capture that alien!
I have to admit that I went to the App Store tonight to see if there actually was a "Cosmo Go" game app (Jon's Note: There isn't). But it reminded me of my beloved "Riverdale Rescue" game from a few years back and this other now-absent game, "Cosmo's Space Race." Remember that game?
