"Riverdale" Premiers Tonight on the CW // Plus: I Got Quoted in an Article for the "International Business Times"

"Riverdale" makes its debut tonight on The CW at 8:00 AM. Earlier this week, a writer named Asmita Kundu reached to a bunch of us "die-hard Archie fans" to see what we think about the upcoming television adaptation of the various Archie Comics characters.

My comments were among those chosen to include in this article for the International Business Times:

I'm really happy that CW got linked with the new Riverdale series. I think that they have done a great job adapting DC's various superhero comics such as The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. After watching several of the promotional clips, I have high hopes for Riverdale as a high-quality program. — Jon Trouten

Over all, the Archie fans are excited about the upcoming program -- either "excited" like me where they can't wait to watch the show or "excited" similar to watching a train wreck.
