I mentioned earlier this week that the Carneys were scheduled to return to comic books in a new DIE KITTY DIE: HOLLYWOOD OR BUST project by Fernando Ruiz and Dan Parent. I received an email first thing this morning telling me that they launched their latest Kickstarter campaign. I instantly tossed in my pledge and can't wait for this project to get funded!
Here is the concept:
Incidentally, the Carneys were mentioned above and we even received a glimpse of my favorite Circus folks in the post. But we got to see a full image of the Carneys in this wonderful drawing by Fernando Ruiz! Beautiful!!
Here is the concept:
Kitty Ravencraft, the beautiful magical witch and star of her own comic book, returns! This time Kitty is on top of the World! Her new comic book series is a huge success and she's once again the talk of the comic shops! Naturally, Kitty's publisher wants to capitalize on her new-found popularity with a big budget blockbuster Kitty movie! To make this happen, Kitty goes off to Hollywood, but once again she finds herself in danger! Someone is out to kill Kitty and this time even the reader won't know who's doing it or why! A lot of Kitty's old crowd from Die Kitty Die like Little Satan, Maxi Millions, and of course everyone's favorite kid corpse, Dippy the Dead Kid will be back. Some will be on Kitty's side and some of course are out to get her! Plus we'll see lots of new faces joining Kitty's cast. She'll face new menaces like the unstoppable Hexecutioner and she'll be aided by new allies like the cult-favorite family of freaks, the Carneys!Die Kitty Die: Hollywood Or Bust will be Kitty's biggest... scariest... and funniest adventure yet! It will be magical. Hopefully she'll survive!Dan and Fernando are seeking $25,000 in pledges. As of this moment, they have received $9,309. You have 29 more days to make this Kickstarter campaign a success!
