A Republican Congressman from Wisconsin named Rep. Glenn Grothman was being interviewed last night during the Wisconsin primary. Rep. Grothman was asked why he thinks that Ted Cruz or Donald will win the presidential vote in Wisconsin later this year. Rep. Grothman ended up inadvertently disputing Republicans' assertions that strict voter ID laws are about reducing voter fraud as opposed to disenfranchising traditionally Democratic constituents:

Well, I think Hillary Clinton is about the weakest candidate the Democrats have ever put up. And now we have Photo ID. And I think Photo ID is gonna make a little bit of a difference as well.Voter ID has negatively affected elderly voters who don't drive. It has negatively affected students who lack in-state driver's licenses. It has negatively affected the poor who don't have the time and money to track down all of the documents needed to get photo IDs. And it has negatively affected married women whose last names don't match the names on their birth certificates.
