(Originally written on 03/10/13: Things are actively breaking in this case, but local news media is reporting on a shooting linked to a domestic dispute at the Holiday Lodge Mobile Home Court in nearby North Liberty, IA. According to multiple news sources, including KCJJ, KCRG, and the Press-Citizen, police officers were called to the trailer court. Two of the officers were shot, though neither was reportedly seriously injured. As of five minutes ago (roughly 7:25 PM CST), KCJJ was reporting police are calling this is an "active standoff". Others are reporting on Facebook that there are "tons of police cars" present -- at least 15 local and state vehicles on the scene.

Updated an hour later: Just got back from the gym. KCJJ is reporting that emergency crews are leaving the Holiday Lodge Mobile Court in North Liberty and residents of the trailer court are allowed to return to their homes. KCRG is reporting on Twitter that the police are not releasing much information to the media.

 A body bag was removed early Monday Morning from a mobile home after two officers were wounded Sunday evening. CBS 2 News has learned that two officers were shot in North Liberty while responding to an apparent domestic situation. Authorities were called to Holiday Mobile Home Court around 6pm Sunday evening.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety says preliminary information they've received on the wounded officers indicated their injuries were not life threatening. Authorities remain on the scene of the apparent shootings and are keeping the public away from the mobile home park...

Johnson County Sheriff Pulkrabrek says there is no threat to the public. He could not elaborate on the condition of the officers or if police took anyone into custody. Monday morning, a CBS 2 News crew reported seeing a body bag removed from the home. There is no information regarding the identity of the deceased person or the circumstances surrounding their death.

Updated Later on 03/11/13: KCJJ is reporting this afternoon that the man involved in this domestic dispute // shooting is now deceased:

According to a release, police responded to 238 Holiday Lodge Road for a domestic disturbance at 5:51pm. North Liberty officers arrived at the scene within three minutes of the call and made contact with a female victim and 28-year old Taleb Hussein Yousef Salameh. Gunshots were exchanged between the officers and Salameh, who died at the scene. Three officers were struck by gunfire from Salameh and transported to the UIHC, where they were treated and released.

The female victim was not injured in the exchange and there was nobody else in the mobile home during the shooting.
