The couple had been together for eleven years, but broke up last September following allegations that Thompson was a chronic cheater. Then Shannon got in trouble for allegedly dating the convicted sex offender who had perped against her oldest daughter back when she was just 8-years-old. These events ultimately led to the reality TV program's cancellation.
Of their appearance on this program, Shannon said "It was our last resort" and that the show is meant to be a tool for assisting troubled couples with deciding whether or not to break up for good.
Shannon and Thompson will be joined by a bunch of reality TV stars that I've never heard of from reality TV shows that I've never heard of before: Sean and Catherine Lowe of "The Bachelor" (Jon's Note: I've actually heard of this show, but not the couple), Benzino and Althea Heart of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta", Sunday Carter of "Basketball Wives: LA", and Cedric and Sarah Oliver and Jimmy "Inkman" Coney of "Bad Girls Club." I noticed from the trailer that Judge Toler of "Divorce Court" will be hosting the show. She's definitely someone that I know and enjoy, so that's another good reason to watch the program!
