Bloggers have been writing about the
romance between Wolverine and Hercules over in Marvel Comics' X-Treme X-Men book recently. It's a team book about a group of alternate reality heroes led by Dazzler who are tasked with traveling the universes and killing evil versions of Charles Xavier. The linked article talks about the pair announcing their love for each other in
X-Treme X-Men #10, but that was just the kiss issue. Them as a couple has been known for a few issues before that.
Before you get too excited about this, keep in mind that the book is scheduled to end in a couple issues. There is going to be a cross-over between
Astonishing X-Men,
X-Treme X-Men, and
Age of Apocalypse, which results in the cancellation of the latter two books. It is possible that we will see more of X-Treme Wolvie and X-Treme Hercules after the book's cancellation, but not likely.
