It's taken a while, but TLC finally canceled "19 Kids & Counting"following revelations that eldest son Josh Duggar (formerly a leader within the Family Research Council) had "forcefully fondled" five girls -- including at least two of his sisters -- when he was in his teens. The story broken in May 2015, but TLC took a while to make their decision.

My hunch is that TLC wants to see how well this one-hour documentary is received. It wouldn't surprise me if this leads to a spin-off series featuring daughters Jill and Jessa, along with their husbands.
