So I was cleaning up my home-office space after finishing my latest blog on AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE #8 when I glanced at the comic book's back cover description. Check this out:
Check out those final two sentences: "As the survivors hunker down in a hotel to wait out a snowstorm, Mary Andrews reveals the darkest chapter of their town's history. Ten years ago, the adults of Riverdale struck a terrible bargain, setting the state for the present-day apocalypse."
Of course, the story itself had the great-grandparents of Archie, Jughead, and Betty make the pact with the Greendale Witches.
I can't help wondering what caused this significant change in story? Obviously, the pact -- as described in that above image -- created a more direct role in Riverdale's fall for Mary Andrews and the other parents.
Either way, it's slopping editing...
